McKenzie Lavengco, PA-C
McKenzie was born in Lafayette, Louisiana but grew up in a small town outside of Houston, Texas. After graduating high school, she decided to return to her family’s home state to attend Louisiana State University. Geaux Tigers! There she studied biology with an interest in becoming a Physician Assistant. Once she graduated, she decided to move to Austin, Texas in order to be close to her family who had moved there when she left for college. In an effort to gain experience for her future career, she then became the medical assistant for Dr. Frosty Moore. However, she left to attend the South University Physician Assistant Program in Savannah, Georgia, only to return in 2022 to be a Physician Assistant for Legacy Bone and Joint Orthopedics. McKenzie is very excited to start her career, not only in orthopedics, but alongside the doctors that inspired her passion for the specialty.
