Amanda Cawley, PA-C
Amanda was born and raised in Orange County, California. After high school, she attended the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Health and Human Sciences. During her time at USC, she led a nonprofit that organized recreational events for local youth with developmental disabilities. It was through this work that she met her now-fiancé, a fellow volunteer and USC student from New Braunfels, Texas.
Following graduation, Amanda moved to New York City to further her education. She completed a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Cornell University. She then launched her career as a PA at New York Presbyterian – Weill Cornell Medical Center, gaining valuable experience caring for patients in a fast-paced, academic medical environment.
Amanda is excited to now call Austin home and be a part of the team at Legacy Bone & Joint Orthopedics. She is passionate about providing education and patient-centered care, helping individuals get back to what matters most to them. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors—especially near the water— hiking, aquascaping, listening to country music, and spending time with her family and her cat, Stella.
